Business Developer
The Business Developer will be responsible for interfacing with clients and preparing, managing and following up on commercial offers. The scope will include:
- Managing relationships clients and prospects
- Participating to the definition & Implementation of the Strategic orientation with the board (Development & Market Orientations, Business Plan, Investments…)
- Interfacing with OCERGY’s engineering Leads and Project Managers to prepare/customize commercial offers
- Support the promotion of OCERGY at events, conferences and on numerical Media
- Support applications for grants and industry tenders
Candidate
Successful candidate will:
- be well organized and have experience in dealing with commercial offers & negotiations.
- have extensive experience with at least one of the following sectors:
- Energy Utilities
- Offshore Oil&Gas
- Marine Renewables
- Offshore Wind
- Public Energy Policies
- be familiar (or ideally trained/with experience) with at least one of the following engineering disciplines:
- Hydrodynamics
- Mooring Design
- Structural engineering
- Offshore Installation
- be able to work independently and make progress with minimal guidance
- write clear notes, summaries,
- communicate clearly and effectively in English, in remote working situations
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
Education/Qualifications:
- 5 years industry experience minimum
- Minimum Bachelor of Science or equivalent
- Candidate authorized to work in Europe or US (Flexible location)
- Proficiency with MS Project, Excel-like programs, and project management tools
- Familiarity with offshore floating wind industry and/or for offshore Oil&Gas
