This innovative system collects and shares continuous, real-time information on marine biodiversity and oceanographic conditions. 3. Bankability : It comes from the mutual reduction of risks and costs. Our technology development and risk reduction roadmap was developed early and we are staying focused on steering the course. Cost reduction continues to be at the heart of our innovations, achieved across weight reduction, simplicity in fabrication, assembly and offshore operations, and a thorough utilization of the existing supply chain, both locally and worldwide.
4. Financial Backing & Industry Trust : Our two successful funding rounds reflect the confidence our investors have in the future of floating offshore wind and Ocergy’s role in shaping it. Since 2020, we’ve built an impressive client base, indicating growing industry recognition of Ocergy’s expertise. Our capabilities to unlock the floating wind market’s potential lies in our approach to effective industrialization, leveraging existing supply chains and port infrastructures.
5. Team Growth : Our company’s growth trajectory illustrates the significant employment opportunities within the offshore wind industry. We began as a startup founded by leading experts in floating offshore wind technology. Since then, we’ve rapidly expanded our workforce, bringing on board numerous skilled and experienced professionals. This expansion mirrors our sector’s potential for job creation. Our ongoing collaboration with TotalEnergies and Archer Wind on the 3 MW pilot project further demonstrates this potential. The project is generating scores of new positions, showcasing the tangible economic benefits of renewable energy development.
